Symposiums
To foster civic pride among residents and promote industry development centered on gastronomy , we held symposiums. We also attended the conference of the “Rich Food Hometown Development Study Group,” which Usuki City joined in 2021, and in FY2023 the conference was hosted in Usuki City.

The 6th Conference on Community Building through Gastronomy: “A Food Cycle for the Future – Healthy Everyday Lives for Children”
For this 6th conference, we set the theme as “a food cycle for the future” and invited guests leading pioneering initiatives to deliver a keynote speech and take part in talk sessions. We aimed to connect these efforts to the promotion of community building and regional revitalization that leverage “gastronomy” and “food,” which are spreading across Japan.

Usuki Creative City of Gastronomy Symposium: “Shaping Usuki’s Future Through Food!”
To build momentum for Usuki as a Creative City of Gastronomy and to advance future initiatives, we held a symposium introducing initiatives of other Creative Cities and discussing initiatives in Usuki City.
